IRB Approved Stem Cell Research Protocol

R3 Stem Cell’s Centers offer treatment under an IRB approved protocol. IRB stands for institutional review board, which is an accredited third party agency that reviews a study for safety, effectiveness and essentially acts as an advocate for patients. As an example, the IRB for R3 reviewed the study’s paperwork including the Informed Consent, which details the study and any potential adverse events.

At Chicago’s R3 Stem Cell Centers of Excellence, two doctors are Co-Investigators in the IRB study protocol. These include Lawrence Mason, MD, and Dr. Jason Hui. For additional information on Dr. Mason, see his CV HERE. For additional information on Dr. Hui, see his CV HERE.
